Hmm..been updating myself bout my ol’skool fwens development then came across dat very familiar name-H. I remember dat gals would run to da musolla juz to listen to his voice when he does da Azan (prayer call)-so soothing n touching!! Alhamdulillah today, H is not only a doctor but also a lecturer in one of the local Vet faculty..

So sup wit da status?? Hmm dun get me wrong here..

About da issue dat coz an uproar among da malay community especially our ustazs n ustazahs in mesia-a vet student (malay+muslim gal) posing happily wit a lil piglet n a dog..n H as da acting lecturer tried to defend his student-he explained about da status of pigs n dogs in Islam-I think he did well bcoz he has strong religious background (I’m sure he did lotsa research bout it too) but still most people are not satisfied..n starts to comdemn him..(biasalah tuh..ustazs n ustazahs mesia mmg menggelabah!!)

Well, being an animal lover (especially catz) I agree wit all of H’s defence point (nothing to do wit da crushed I had on him during school days ok)…Pigs and dog are also God’s creation like us. They need kind attention and treatment when they are in trouble or when they get sick. It’s God’s Test for us to be a better muslim..take my sis for an example. Suzy doesnt wear tudung, so most people thinks she’s a bad Muslim..but I remember watching her crawling all da way into da drain infront of our neighbours house juz to save a lil stray puppy..she juz cant bare to listen to da da puppy’s cry anymore..(wondered how our particular neighbour could juz ignore it totally-because it’s only a puppy?!). Da puppy wuz lost n got stuck in da drain since da previous nite..(da rescue was not dat ez ok?..ever heard of the saying “umpama melepaskan anjing tersepit?”) Now, can we all (tudung-erz) do like wat she did? Da best part wuz da guys from dat particular house juz laughed at her and enjoyed her “posterior view” to da max when she crawled into da drain..(n these people are da so called-“org surau”-now u get da picture?

Yes-da Quran says it’s Haram to feast on pigs n dogs but Haram to touch them? never stated!! It’s juz dat we have to Samak (wash our hands with 6 parts of water n 1 part of earth) after dealing wit them..(dats y da Earth is called da Earth people!!). Islam never teaches us to be inhumane wat more at any degree be cruel towards any of God’s creation (in tis case-pigs n dogs)..They questioned on y da student didn’t wear gloves when dealing with da animals..(as if da gloves got built in sensory receptors haha) these are vet students-touching these animals is NOT FOR FUN..(Imagine a doctor dat palpates or percuss his human patient gloves-on!! wat info would he get??)

??. It’s like a male doctor who has to touch his non-muhrim female patient..same goes wit these vet students. God knows if they were to be sent to Pigs farm to do inspections. FYI, most of da medical labs in Mesia also use Porcine derived Tripsin (Porcine=pigs) bcoz its cheaper than da Bovine ones (Bovine=cows)..dats y we alwiz have a big barrel of air “samak” around..so where do these lab peeps stand?? They too have direct contact wit pigs but not as in a whole..

Well peeps, these are juz my points to be taken into consideration by people who knows about da Halal-Haram better-Support me if I’m rite n correct me if I’m wrong (wont treat u like an enemy after dat). Born a Muslim doesn’t make me a prodigy in Hukum-Hakam, there’s still a lot to learn ..
